What we collect
When you send an enquiry or book a session we collect your name, email address and phone number, the player's name and age, and the club, playing level, goals and preferred times you tell us about. Payments are made by cash or bank transfer. We keep a record of what was paid and when, as tax law requires.
If you send us video for review, we keep it only for coaching, as set out in our child safety policy.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, to schedule and deliver the coaching you have booked, and to send you anything you asked for. We use it for nothing else.
Children's information
We coach players under 18. Where the player is a minor, we ask that a parent or guardian makes the enquiry and gives consent. We collect the minimum needed to coach safely: the player's name, age and any relevant injury information a parent chooses to share. A parent or guardian may attend any session and may ask us to delete their child's information at any time.
Who we share it with
Your information passes through the services we use to run the business: Brevo (email) and Cloudflare (website hosting). Each holds data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else without your consent unless required by law. Some of these providers store data outside Australia; by using this site you consent to that transfer.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for seven years, the period Australian tax law requires for business records. Coaching video is deleted when you ask, or within seven days of consent being withdrawn.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email matthew@spoorscricket.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in it; this does not affect messages about coaching you have booked.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your information, contact us first at matthew@spoorscricket.com.au. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
